You have questions… we have answers!
Could a class be cancelled?
While it does happen from time to time, it’s not a frequent occurrence. Classes with low attendance may be cancelled up to 30 days in advance. We’ll notify you of any cancellations and provide alternate training options or a refund of the registration fee.
When should I book my travel for the upcoming class?
Once you receive an email registration confirmation from us at Yukon Learning, feel free to book travel. However, keep in mind that classes with low attendance may be cancelled up to 30 days in advance. If this occurs, we’ll notify you as soon as possible with alternatives and next steps.
Can you recommend hotels near the training facility?
Your registration confirmation email contains a link to the training location/venue, which typically also offers a listing of hotels nearby.
Is this a certification course?
While we are Articulate’s Certified Training Partner, this course does not “certify” you as a user of their tools. In other words, we don’t implement any metrics to measure your competency with the tool upon completion of the training.
Will I receive a certificate of completion?
Absolutely! Certificates of attendance are available upon request after completion of the training! Simply email your instructor and they will email you a certificate of attendance as soon as possible.
I cannot download the workshop files. What do I do?
We hear this from time to time. In most cases, it’s a browser issue. Try to open the link in a different browser, as it could be blocked by your Internet settings. If you are still unable to access the files before class, no worries! Your instructor will also bring the files to class on USB drives for those who were not able to download them prior to class.
What programs do I need on my computer?
You’ll need Storyline 360 installed locally for the Basic and Advanced Storyline classes. We’ve created exercises that are compatible with Storyline 3, but for the newer features and the Rise 360+ training day, you’ll need a subscription or a trial version of the Articulate 360 suite. For the Rise 360+ class, you’ll also need access to the Internet, and the latest version of either the Chrome, Firefox, or Edge browsers installed. To view the detailed System Requirements for Articulate 360 tools, please visit: Combined Tech Specs for All Articulate 360 Apps.
I have a Mac, can I still attend the training?
As long as you have Windows on your Mac, you’ll be able to use software such as Storyline 360, Studio 360, and Replay 360. Check out this Articulate article for more information: Articulate 360 FAQs: Working on a Mac.
Where do I download the workshop files?
After registration, your instructor will provide a link to download the workshop files via email. In addition, your instructor will also have USB drives available with the workshop files on the first day of training. If you’re registered in the Virtual Open Enrollment sessions, the workshop files are provided in the first scheduled session.
What time does the classroom training begin and end?
Our Open Enrollment classes are scheduled to begin at 9:00 AM and end at 5:00 PM, with a one-hour break for lunch. Morning and afternoon breaks are also provided. Onsite classes can be adjusted to begin and end at a time that works best for the organization. We understand that some of our Purchasers need to leave early because of travel arrangements, so just be sure to let your instructor know on that day.
Is lunch provided for the classroom training?
We do not provide lunch during tool training classes; however, many of our training facilities are located in areas where access to lunching options are available. Please consult your registration confirmation email for a link to the training location/venue, which typically offers a listing of options nearby.
What else do I need to bring to the classroom?
The most common forgotten items are a power supply for your laptop, a mouse, and a writing utensil.
Is there a workbook or participant’s guide provided?
Yes. Your instructor will have a workbook ready and waiting for you in your first session!
Do I need to attend the Basic training as a prerequisite for the Advanced and/or Articulate 360 trainings?
While Storyline 360 Basic is not a prerequisite for the Advanced class, we strongly recommend that training participants have mastered all of the skills covered in the Basic class before moving to the Advanced training. To review the skills covered in the training, please download and review our course syllabus here: Articulate Storyline 360 Training Syllabus.
If I need to miss a Virtual Open Enrollment session, can I watch a recording?
Yes, absolutely! You’ll have access to the full session recording for 6 weeks after the session completes. And, you can watch it as many times as you’d like in that time period, even if you don’t miss a session! Some of our participants love this flexibility in order to go back and refresh their memory of steps when completing exercises.
Does Storyline 360 apply to me if I have Storyline 3?
Yes! You’ll be able to participate in all of the exercises in the Basic and Advanced training days if you’re using Storyline 3. Our Rise 360+ class, however, only applies to Articulate 360 users. We’ve created exercises that are compatible with Storyline 3, but for the newer features and the Rise 360+ day, you’ll need a subscription or trial of the Articulate 360 suite.

How do I log in to the Virtual Open Enrollment training?
I cannot unmute my microphone in the Virtual Open Enrollment training. Is it broken?
Nope, your computer isn’t broken! We intentionally remove your ability to turn on microphones in the virtual sessions for timing purposes. We have a lot of material to cover, so we mute your microphone to maximize our learning time together. If you have any questions during your session, please use the Questions pod available. These questions go to both the instructor and a moderator to answer during the session. Alternatively, you can also reach out via email, email@example.com, after the session has completed and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
Are there breaks during the Virtual Open Enrollment training?
In order to maximize our time together, there are not breaks during the virtual training. We limit each session to two hours to remove the need for breaks.

Can I use the Storyline 360 trial software?
Yes, absolutely! The trial version is fully functional and a great option for those who don’t currently own Storyline 3 or the Articulate 360 suite. Please note that the trial is only active for 60 days, so plan your download timing appropriately. Free trials can be found on Articulate’s website.
Is the Virtual Open Enrollment homework required in order to participate?
No, the homework is not required. However, we encourage you to use the software right away with the skills you learned in order to apply that knowledge in a timely manner. This will definitely help with retention! And, remember the old adage: “if you don’t use it, you’ll lose it.”
What happens if the Internet crashes during the Virtual Open Enrollment training?
We recommend using a wired connection, and to disconnect your VPN whenever possible for a more stable connection. However, we realize that connections are sometimes dropped regardless of any precautions taken. In this case, don’t worry! All of the sessions are recorded and archived for six weeks. If you lose Internet during the call or must leave the training, you’ll have access to the session recording!
I didn’t get my registration email for the Virtual Open Enrollment training. What should I do?
The registration email comes directly from Zoom Webinar and, unfortunately, may have found its way to your spam or junk folder. Please check those folders first, and if you still cannot locate it, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll get right back to you with all the information you’ll need!
