Over 25 years of combined experience in organizational development, instructional design, business coaching, leadership development, and experiential learning, has allowed Ron to work with a broad array of customers, ranging from schools like Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and Harvard Business School to multinational companies like BP, Canon, Sanofi and Conoco Phillips. Ron designs and develops e-Learning solutions using Articulate tools, and teaches courses in Articulate, Rapid e-Learning, and Storyline. At home, Ron enjoys spending time with his wife, playing the guitar, the writings of CS Lewis, and the outdoors (kayaking, rock climbing).
Chief Learning Officer
A proud graduate from Virginia Tech (Go Hokies!), Brooke began her career in training as a Technical Writer for a software development company. That role quickly morphed into designing and programming Computer-Based Training modules, which she continued for the next 10 years. Her next venture took her passions for learning and project management to the next level as she tackled administering and managing the enterprise-wide Learning Management System for the Commonwealth of Virginia. At Yukon Learning, she has found her true home and leads our merry band of developers. When not nerding out over something e-Learning related, she can be found goofing off in the company of life-long friends, her hubby, and two boys.
Executive Vice President
Having graduated from Longwood College with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Kim has fine tuned her operational skills over the last 15 years. Currently, she has assisted everyone from teammates to vendors to customers with various needs. Her main focus currently is the Articulate Suite of tools and the logistics associated with providing training to customers. When she is not coordinating logistics, she is a taxi, baker, and greatest fan to her son, Brandon. Her creative outlet is baking goodies for her friends, family, and co-workers.
Executive Vice President
Stefanie earned her BS in IT and received her MBA from WGU. Before Yukon, she spent just over seven years training software products and policies, as well as developing e-Learning content for various departments in a school system. Now working with Yukon, she develops content for customers when she’s not teaching the Articulate products to other e-Learning content developers. Off the clock, she’s working hard at her family life with her husband and twins.
Senior Product Manager
Melissa graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and the University of Richmond with an early elementary teaching certificate. She taught elementary school right here in Richmond and focused on the importance of twenty-first century skill development, by incorporating engaging technologies in the classroom and inspiring her peers. Before joining the team at Yukon, she held the titles of Senior Quality Assurance Analyst and Project Coordinator for an agile software development company. At Yukon, Melissa is able to combine all of her past skills to make sure everything stays on track. When she’s not at Yukon keeping ducks in a row, you will find her spending time with her husband gardening, hiking, or simply enjoying time outdoors.
John has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from St. John’s University in Minnesota and received his MBA from St. Leo University in Florida. He has a passion for learning and has spent the last 19 years in various training and development roles in several industries, including presentation technology and financial services. John creates an environment that is both informative and entertaining, utilizing humor and storytelling techniques, all while never losing sight of the ultimate goal: the success of the learner. As a Senior Learning Consultant at Yukon Learning, he collaborates with customers to develop effective e-Learning solutions while also providing customer training and support for the Articulate suite of products. When he’s away from the office, he enjoys playing the piano and is our resident video game and movie critic (especially anything involving Star Wars, Indiana Jones, or Disney). He and his wife, Maureen, enjoy traveling and are the proud parents of two Basset Hounds, Otto and Penny.
Senior Learning Director
Shane brings more than 20 years of learning and development experience to the table as a trainer and developer for Yukon Learning. He honed his craft conducting certified technical training courses for IT industry vendors such as Microsoft, Novell, and CompTIA. This led to consulting opportunities in Canada and abroad with clients in the oil and gas, banking, and health care sectors. Shane has worn many hats in his career – writer, researcher, instructor, marketer, IT guy – and each facilitated a natural transition to e-Learning design and development. When not pounding the pavement as an avid runner or scaling peaks in the Rockies near his home, Shane teaches classes in Mandarin Chinese.
Senior Learning Director
Raye holds a BA in English Education from Southwestern Oklahoma State University and an MS in Behavioral Science from Cameron University. A well-traveled military spouse, her family’s journeys have led her to occupations in education, community mobilization, and training. Beginning her career in e-Learning developing for a government agency, she also worked as a consultant specializing in social media and technology training. As a member of the Yukon Learning team, she instructs fellow e-Learning content developers on the Articulate products and also develops herself. In her spare time, she enjoys going on adventures with her husband and daughter, traveling to her home state of Oklahoma (Thunder UP!), and feeding her inner geek with everything Doctor Who.
After receiving an Information Science degree from ECPI University, Daniel has spent years providing a wide range of technological support for the company, our partners, and our customers. His expertise in the field of systems, IT, software, and technology keeps Yukon up and running. He also developed a passion for creating simulations and systems-based training. When Daniel is not supporting all that Yukon Learning has to offer, he enjoys going to the gym and spending quality time with his family.
Simulation Developer/Technology Manager
Coming from a background working in research laboratories, Ming joined Yukon Learning shortly after graduating from Duke University with a degree in Engineering. As a key member of the custom development team, he works to develop intuitive, interactive learning modules with high aesthetic appeal and pedagogical efficacy for customers such as PepsiCo, Canon, and Sanofi.
Gao Mingming Yang
Crystal graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelor’s degree in English and a minor in Psychology. With a background in both marketing and education, Crystal joins the Yukon team as a Multimedia Architect, to master the technologies which enhance people’s learning experience. In her spare time, Crystal enjoys exploring the outdoors, settling in with a good book, and learning new languages.
Katie earned her BS in Business Management from Appalachian State University. Joining the Yukon Learning team in 2010, Katie began creating e-Learning modules, as well as teaching the Articulate suite of tools to other e-Learning content developers from a variety of industries. Her relaxed, yet thorough training style has proven to be the perfect recipe for an effective learning process. When she’s not training and building courses, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son at home in North Carolina.

Kathi graduated from Louisiana Tech University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems. After college, she jumped into the world of learning and development. Kathi spent 6 years in Houston, Texas working for an international oil and gas company where she was a development skills instructor. After moving to Richmond, Virginia, Kathi joined Yukon Learning in January 2012 where she develops e-Learning and conducts virtual training on the Articulate products. When she is not working, you will find her spending time with her husband and their two very active sons.
Katharine “Kathi” Singh

Emily graduated from James Madison University with a Bachelor’s degree in Writing, Rhetoric and Technical Communication with a minor in Educational Media. Jumping straight into the publication and document design world after college, Emily began working for a private aviation company in their publication department. After realizing she wasn’t a big fan of flying, she set her sights on Richmond after a short stint in Maryland managing her family’s small business. Combining her love of art, design, education and user experience, Emily joins the Yukon Learning team as a Learning Specialist. Out of work you can find her exploring her new city, at the closest theater, or making friends with a near-by dog.
Jakrit graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University’s School of Media and Culture with a Bachelor’s degree in Creative Advertising. He has since pursued various projects around Richmond that include graphic design, videography, art direction, and event production. Combining his love of digital mediums and his passion for creating, Jakrit graciously landed in the world of professional e-Learning. With his advertising knowledge and education, he provides a fresh perspective on e-Learning user design, experience, and audience reach. When he’s not tinkering on the computer, Jakrit enjoys going out to music and comedy shows, browsing knickknacks, and meeting inspiring new friends.
Alex earned her Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications from Virginia Commonwealth University, with focuses in design, typography, multimedia journalism, and public relations. She headed several communications projects in the Central Virginia area and the Old Dominion’s capitol city, to include working with nonprofits and operating as Director of Outreach for a local business. Following an intuitive feeling, Alex discovered her home at Yukon, where she contributes to the team as a developer and a trainer in the Articulate tools. Her free time is spent playing around at the dog park and animal shelter, chipping in to clean up the James River, and taking in local culture.
Sean graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelor’s degree in Urban and Regional Studies and Planning. As part of the team at Yukon Learning, Sean has been enjoying using his creativity and ingenuity in the realm of e-Learning. When not helping develop interactive modules, he can be found at home watching a black and white Chanbara film, crafting scenarios for his next table-table gaming campaign and spending time with his wonderful wife and two feline companions.
With a strong interest for the arts, Ariana completed her undergraduate studies from Virginia Commonwealth University with a dual degree in Communication Arts and Psychology. After studying and traveling abroad in Europe as an undergraduate, Ariana jumped at the opportunity to obtain her masters overseas. In 2015 she completed her MA in Creative Advertising at Falmouth University located in Cornwall, England. Continuing her love for art creation and design, Ariana brings an artistic touch to the development of eLearning programs. Outside of the office, she enjoys volunteering with various art programs in the Richmond area, exploring the rural lands of VA with her husband and sweet rescue pup, or crafting up a new creative project.
Ashley received her Bachelor’s degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in Creative Advertising with a minor in Psychology. Before joining the team at Yukon, she worked in various graphic design roles. From there she developed an interest in finding creative solutions for effective communication, particularly when it came to education through visual and interactive design. In her free time, she enjoys cooking new dishes, hiking, and discovering all the art that Richmond has to offer.
Calie graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing. She spent time abroad in the Czech Republic, interning for UNICEF, before becoming a part of the Yukon team. When she’s not developing e-learning courses, she enjoys running around Richmond, reading, and gardening indoors.
