Learning vs Training

Without getting too detailed, it is important for us to make the distinction between training and learning. We see Training as an “event” … we see Learning as a “process.”For example, you might attend a classroom session on the subject of Presentation Skills. We would call that training and it is a discrete event. It happens on Wednesday from 8am to 4pm in Building 4162, Room 145.
