In 2000, we built our very first simulation for use in our negotiations workshop. This simulation, Negotiate2Win, was a huge success and continues to be used effectively in Yukon Negotate4Profit workshops today.
In 2001, we added content-based e-Learning modules and an online assessment to the mix, giving us a complete blended learning solution for sales negotiations training.
As more and more clients participated in N4P workshops, we started to get requests for custom e-Learning. Since our first custom project in 2001, we have developed more than 300 custom e-Learning modules, learning games and simulations that have been used by more than 100,000 learners worldwide.
Along the way, we have continued to refine our approach to e-Learning, our resources and our capabilities. In late 2007, a decision was made to create a “sister company” of Yukon that would focus on e-Learning. Together, these two companies make up Yukon Group, Inc.
Like Yukon, we knew we wanted to work primarily with sales organizations because that is where our expertise lies. As we continued to talk with our customers, we continued to refine that focus. One common theme emerged in those conversations and that need has become the Mission of Yukon Learning.
